Tessa is an independent audio producer and science communicator based in Naarm/Melbourne. With a background in geography, her approach to storytelling is informed by personal experience of disaster recovery and environmental protest. She has worked with environmental NGOs, Aboriginal organisations, academics, and grassroots community groups to weave place-based stories through a human-centered lens. She regularly presents Out of the Blue on 3CR Community Radio, a show about our coasts and oceans.

When not wielding a microphone, you can catch her tending tomatoes, playing the fiddle, or carving spoons in the shed.
